VALLEY CITY, OH, October 16, 2006 – Shiloh Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq:SHLO) President and CEO, Theodore K. Zampetis, announced the following Executive appointments:
Jim Walker is appointed Vice President, Sales and Business Development. Jim brings to Shiloh over twenty years of sales and business development experience in the global automotive industry. In the last eleven years, Jim worked with Takata Holdings, Inc., a leading manufacturer of automotive safety restraint systems including seatbelts, airbags, steering wheels and electronics. At Takata, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing, Vice President and General Manager Steering Wheel Division and Director of International Business Development.
Tony Parente is appointed Vice President, Manufacturing Operations. Tony is a 27-year veteran of the Company. He started his career at MTD Automotive Division as an electrical apprentice in 1979. He progressed effectively through different technical assignments and was appointed Plant Manager of the Ohio Welded Blanking (OWB) Plant in 2001. Tony was promoted to the position of Group General Manager three years later.
Jim Keys, Senior Vice President of Advanced Technology/Sales and Marketing, is appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Shiloh Industries. In his new position, Jim will be focusing primarily in the formulation and execution of the Company’s Product Innovation Strategy, which includes advanced product and process development and the evaluation of focused, complementary diversification and strategic alliance opportunities.
